A Website is Not a Thesis
Sunday, May 23, 2010
When writing for the web, more does not always equal better. In fact, it’s best to just get to the point. Web surfers are busy and easily distracted.
Think about it, how many 900 word articles do you have time to sit and read? Wouldn’t a company who stated their message in 300 words have a better chance of holding your attention?Besides, having many short articles as opposed to a few long articles is better for search engine optimization purposes.
So, save the thesis for grad school and keep it short when writing for the web.
